THE PATRIOTIC ROSARY FOR THE CONSECRATION OF
OUR NATION.
The Confraternity of Penitents
does not make a judgment regarding the
validity of the locutions coming from Medjugorje
(this book was written by a Friend of Medjugorje),
nor about the group which owns the copyright to
printed versions of the Patriotic Rosary.
However, the Confraternity does advocate the praying of the Patriotic
Rosary for the United States of America.
Information on how to pray this Rosary is in the
Confraternity of Penitents Penance Library on
this
link.
This booklet has all the prayers of the
Rosary, printed on the above link, in a booklet
form for ease in praying the Rosary alone or in
a group. In praying the Rosary, every branch of
government in the United States (President,
Congress, US Supreme Court) is prayed for. State
and local governments receive prayers. One Hail
Mary is dedicated to every state of the union.
The refrain, "We plead the Jesus over Arizona
and every soul in that state" is repeated before
each Hail Mary, with only the state name being
changed.
Between decades, a patriotic song such as
"God Bless America" or "The Star Spangled
Banner" is sung. Every decade begins with a
statement from one of the nation's past leaders,
all of whom refer to God and to our freedoms.
This powerful Rosary can be prayed alone or
in a group. It certainly calls down God's grace
and guidance upon the United States of America.
Some prayer groups pray this Rosary weekly.
Others meet to pray it before elections or other
major events or following tragedies and
disasters that impact the country. At this
critical time for the United States of America,
the Confraternity of Penitents encourages all
faithful Catholics to pray this or other prayers
for the country. May God guide and help the USA
and may His Will be done.
